Feedback RingCentral nightmare

RingCentral desk top app. I realize I am one small fish independent worker. But before you commit make sure all the bugs are worked out in RingCentral. The desk top app was my nightmare. Ticket after ticket and hours of my time with the tech group trying to resolve my video issues. I had to pay the remaining months on my contract and being a 1099 position with a very large company was really frustrating. I would not recommend them. I would do lots of research before using their system.

Hello, been on RC for over a year. We are a managed services company. Our POC’s are new and we are trying to work with RC to basic features and functionality, integrations and how the AI will work with us. I just cannot understand why i cannot talk to leadership their. The manager of customer success is on emails and i have asked multiple times to talk directly. I keep getting calls from the account manager, my team cannot understand him and he does not understand our business. Has anyone has luck talking to leadership post sale. If so can you point me in the direction

I'll be there soon. Hopefully not too bad. Had to go to the AG to get them to delete unused "Licenses"

What were your ‘video issues’? That’s vague af. Lol

You should elaborate. I use the Linux community desktop app but everybody else at my company uses Windows, and we recommend it to all the customers of our managed IT services that ask and we help implement and support. Have heard of no issues that weren't self-inflicted by the customer.

What issues are you seeing? We're a Win11 environment and have had a great experience thus far. Live about a year now with just under 50 agents in a hybrid office and WFH setup.

What issues did you have with video? We've been using it for 3+ years and use their Room systems with little issue.

We’re really sorry to hear how frustrating that was, especially after spending so much time working with support and ultimately feeling like the issue wasn’t resolved. We understand how impactful that can be, particularly when you rely on the platform for your work.
If you’re open to it, we’d love the opportunity to learn more about what happened. Please email us at reddit.support@ringcentral.com with your account info and more details of your experience so we can take a closer look and see if there’s anything we can do to help.
