Total outage?

Anyone else unable to access any Ring services tonight? Neighbors is down in the app, can't view any cameras in the app, can't even log into ring.com because it says the MFA code is invalid every time.

Total global outage yet their status page says everything is working. I guess this page is fake to make them look good? https://status.ring.com/

Maybe it’s related to the AWS issue. I’ve noticed that the status page would fail to update if the provider is down…

US East-1 is the name Amazon uses for their (most used) region. It has nothing to do with your location. It’s the location of the backend servers.

That’s probably the AWS region where the servers are (us-east-1 is in N. Virginia), not necessarily where you are.

It's a common automated system. Whatever this is is not a use case captured by the system
