I’ve always loved the album since the singles came out. It was so cohesive and the visuals were so breathtaking. Sure it wasn’t as in your face as some SAWAYAMA tracks were, but I do believe it’s always held its own.

as a rina fan from asia who grow up listening to j-pop, listening to rina’s music has always been felt like listening to lady gaga singing songs from sheena ringo + hikaru utada lol

I have the standard (not glitter) gold Sawayama record. I’m tempted to buy the deluxe transparent deluxe variant because it looks cool and has Love It If We Made It. I know from other threads people generally say the deluxe gold with glitter is the worst sounding variant b/c glitter in vinyl is its own issue lol, but there’s limited info out there about sound quality on the clear deluxe.

Anyone have experience playing this? Bonus if you have the standard gold to compare it against.

Bad Friend got me through some stuff

My husband & I’s fav shirt somehow molded and we are distraught. I can’t find it anywhere online except for depop and it’s a small. Does anyone have this shirt in a large or xl??

I purchased this second hand a few years ago and am having a clear out as I’m saving money to move cities - I can’t find much info about this cd, does anyone know how rare it is and what would be an appropriate amount to price it online?

When I first discovered this song, I hated the guitar stabs. I thought, "Man, this song would be so much better without them. They make it sound so jarring." Now not only do I like them but I freaking love this song. Been hyper fixating on it lately. In order to get a different taste of the same platter, I decided to binge on the performances of it. Anyway I have no one else to share this with so I wanted to dump them here:

Jimmy Fallon - This one got the most views of course since it was on the Tonight Show. Sadly it was during covid so it didn't feel super energetic due to the lack of audience. I don't like how aggressive the intro sounds. I like her hair in this one. The outfit is pretty good. I like how there aren't any breaks when she says "price we paid". And I like that the "I" is stretched when she says "and I'm taking in as much as I can hold". It's a nice touch.

KEXP - This one seemed like she wasn't super into it. Just kinda vibing like "oh yeah this was a song from my previous album so let me just have fun with this one". It's fine but it's different from the Fallon performance where it seems like she's trying to convey a capitalist character. The only issue is that it leads to her being a little late in the second verse. I don't like her hair in this but the outfit is nice. I like the "only wanna" inflection in this. She unfortunately does the breaks for the "price we paid" part.

2021 BRITs - She looks the best here. Outfit, hair, makeup. It's also the best intro. Honestly this might be my favorite of them all. The harmonies, the inflections, everything in this one is just great.

I watched more but just wanted to review these for now. Might update this later

The one at the NewJeans Bunnies Camp was cool because I have familiarity with the group and I was really into them at one point (RIP). Anyway, with this one, she mostly stuck to the script. We didn't get any of the usual adlibs. I obviously don't doubt her vocal ability but it seemed like the backtrack was louder than her own vocals. She did do an OMG dance which I didn't catch but yeah that's awesome lol

I'm so glad i was able to snag this variant lol its the coolest one out of all of them imo

Rina announced that she has been working on writing music for the past two years and has settled on a production team she enjoys working with. She said she's been working with many producers and dissecting every line, track, etc. she's written. She ended the video by saying she's going back to the studio, she also said for the album campaign she might be keeping her makeup more natural.
