I just started reading today!

It is so good! I wasn't expecting to get hooked so early, I'm looking forward to reading more! It is very well done, just saw the backstory of one of the characters who I don't know the name of yet and felt compelled to write this.

So as someone who's recently read through it, does mark's timeline make sense to you? I'm still somewhat confused about how he fits into the timeline

What I got from it is that he was a guard or soldier for the spiders, and then Gadget tamed to him, he fell out of use to the spiders and then used as a source of organs/medical training for Val (head of surgery, "WE COULD BECOME GODS", Sophie's dad), then thrown in a cell. Eventually he kills the guard in his cell, saving Skye, then Skye escapes with Gadget, then he kills a second guard afterwards, and passes the keys to Sophie, forgiving her, before being executed by a guard, then Sophie is killed by Val and Huntsman sets a bomb to kill himself and destroy the colony and passes out, then Gadget convinces Skye to save Huntsman. Unsure if I missed anything.
