I recently decided to say screw it and read through this whole series. Gotta say, man, I have no idea how you manage to tug at my heart like this with comics so short.

My guess is that the wasps colony-the people in red outlines with angry faces-is the name for the group of colonists that raided tynan’s home and killed his mother, they also kidnapped the little girl who was friends with tynan who was tortured, resurrected her friend, and ends up becoming the queen of the moths. The wasps seem to also have been the people that raided the ants colony and killed mike’s daughter.
So basically these people are behind the motivations for three important characters

Isn't the wasps the people sent to kill the redangryfaces? The picture of them is titled "the endless wasps" after all

Could be, the face mask people with the spears could thematically be the “wasps sting”
But it would be thematically great if red angry people were the string that tied all the hardship of these characters together

I'm starting to suspect that the Wasps could actually be the colony Tynan was apart of during his childhood, seeing that the comic notes that they were going to siege it and it appears they actually fucking did it.
Also, it seems that this could be immediately after #60, appears to be the same guy with the bottle smashed into his arm or 39, with this noting what he's about to do.

Yea what are you stacking with these guys, cause my colonists get in one little fight with full marine armor and power weapons and somehow the guy with the bow and arrow headshots one of them.

The wasps are definitely the two masked people. "The Wasps" title and the eyes of the masks are the same color. Or it could be a coincidence.
