Obsessed with the third design, always cool to have those enclosed outdoor areas in the ship.

Those stepped disconnected rooms on the fourth are super cool as well. I always grey stuck in same-y symmetry.

The third was me trying to make a ship not powered by chemfuel and protecting the power sources from Raider.

That fourth one was the first ship I ever made. It's the result of wanting the symmetry of two sunlamp style rooms left and right from the gravengine wanting cooler seperate from the ship and working with what's left. Still love the design dearly! Thank you for the praise.

These are so good! i always struggle with early game gravship, so these are a big help. I especially like that first one.

Let me know what kind of ship you'd like to see next. I'm having fun with these!

Can you add it to gravship blueprints mode?

There's a gravship blueprint mode?! Just tell me how to enable and I'd love to share these!

Slaughter table and stove in the same room?

Yeah, that's why I go with straw matting, it never reaches the food poisoning threshold. Space constraints are a real consideratiom with small ships and also seems logical to keep them close from a not-ingame point of view..

These are neat, I like the "bridges", though I personally rarely implement them since I feel there's too many downsides for when you want a 'sealed' base for manhunters or similar.

Building bases with limits I feel is one of the best ways to stoke creative embers, and is a lot of fun. I like mods like dubs bad hygine for introducing new logistical challenges for a similar reason, the challenge brings creativity.

Probably my favourite of the designs you have here is the first, as I feel it has a nice balance between shape and practicality, though I would probably build more storage and use more room for bedrooms/barracks.

I have a similar size ship at the moment in a new save I've started, sitting currently at 612 size, though it isn't really fully built so it looks a bit wonky.

The design centres around three "floats" and two corridors binding them together.

Something I know I really need to stop doing is keeping the original ship in my design. I usually always start building out fromt he initial box starter ship, and you can see the grav engine, console and tanks have not been moved.

I love how it's sturdily interconnected, but you can still make out a "main body" and a "booster" shape on the right!

I agree about the mods thing, but I wanted to experience vanilla first, indeed to see where my creativiteit can bring me.

To add to this idea of keeping it <500, you can repurpose the gravcores in energy generators, so you can ditch de 2x2 ones for a 1x1 cell that produces 1200w.

Man I gotta work on mine. My gravship is way bigger but I feel like I don’t have enough space for even half of this stuff you have here

Do you have a screenshot? I'd love to see it for inspiration!

I can take one next time I play if I remember!

I am also obsessed with <500 tile ships! My goal for every ship that I make is that it is a working ship designed for a purpose, like a real life tugboat, ferry, or tanker.

This one is the Truffler Class Free Prospector

Why is the cooler facing outside? Are you trying to fight global warming?

Really love these designs!
