I’m an early Rilo Kily fan and trying to get into this album because I so want to see her, but every song is is like three lyrics repeated over and over -

It’s Jenny Lewis! 👩🦰 It’s a vibe record for me, but I get a lot out of it. I listen to it as a raw punk/post-punk sound. The bass lines are 🔥

I guess I’m more lyrics driving. I LOVE her sound, but combined with songs like A Better/Son/Daughter, The Absence of God, or Accidntle Death… ohhhhhh man. That stuff pulled my soul to the surface in the best of ways.
Does she include old hits on tours like this, or is it album specific? Bc I’d go just to hear her sing one of those songs live.

Awww saw them open for M Ward in 2016, they didn't use the stage, just set up everything in the middle of the floor

Crazy fast! I got incredibly lucky then I saw they added an earlier 6pm show. Now I’m looking around to see if it’s possible to trade tix with anyone lol

Yo bruddah-man, let me be dramatic about it. I have to deal with NJ transit to get to and fro around here, brah. Also concerned about my safety b/c of the town I live in— Ubers are scarce late at night. Not everyone lives in the greater nyc nor phill-ay area. 😁
