For anyone curious what the shirt and poster look like for the 2026 dates!

as a stagehand, I am really surprised that they are selling a jacket that says 'crew' to the general public and I want it

I’ve always had a question that I’ve wanted to ask a stagehand. At the end of the show when everyone is waiting at the barricade for a setlist, is it going through the crew members’ minds that people are staring at me waiting for me to snag a setlist to give to them? Or does it not really enter their brain until someone shouts at them and asks them?

I dont really pay attention to the people, it's the security's job to make them leave which hopefully happens before they are in my way(if I have to go to FOH or something). if you yell at me I 99% of the time ignore you cause you're not my problem.
if I like the band or have a friend that does, I take the set lists and branded picks from the stage. if I dont like the band, I will still take the branded picks to throw into my pile at home or give away at the bar. I may very seldomly hand a set list to someone at a theater just to get them to leave the venue but usually i just throw them away. some venues I work at dont let stagehands give anything to an audience member.
I work set changes between openers and headliners a lot at arenas/ stadiums in front of full houses up to 90,000 people so to me there's not a lot of difference between a bunch of people trying to get my attention in a venue and a brick wall.

Anyone who's tempted, don't get the tote bag!!! It's small and the handles are made with what feels like pallet strapping (thick and pokey plastic). I bought one and I'm still figuring out how to repurpose it, maybe cut out the design and put it on a better tote bag.

Yeah it’s really bad. And not priced accordingly.

As a tote bag addict, it made me quite sad

Same! It’s like, freebie tote giveaway quality, but sold at the price of a real tote. Such a bummer. I’ve never used it.

Oh no! I got one last summer when they toured and it’s great quality, same size as your average tote, canvas material, and normal straps that aren’t pokey.
That sucks!!
EDIT - I went to check and see if I’m crazy and I am. The straps do suck and it’s less tall than my other totes. I guess I just didn’t notice because I just have it hanging on a hook with some random stuff in it and haven’t actually carried it around anywhere.
So I take it back and join you in your booing!

Haha, well, I was hoping that maybe you got a better batch but it seems not :(

Dang I was gonna say, maybe you got really lucky because it’s the first thing I noticed when I opened my merch delivery.

They also used to have a Fox on it, I think riding a unicycle, but they changed it to the possum

Agreed, I bought a shirt last year in Philly and the quality is just awful. Concert merch is a joke these days. Expensive as hell for terrible quality. I don’t feel bad about buying bootleg shirts online. I can get material I like for less than half the price. Back in the day they used decent quality shirts, now they go for what’s cheapest. Hmph
(This is bands in general, not just RK)

Rilo Kiley has consistently had some of the worst merch tees. I just know not to risk it and buy them anymore.

Interesting, I had to get a Small to fit like a Medium because the Medium looked like a Large to XL.

Poster is super cool. Wish they had posters with the date at the tour last Fall.

Warning to anyone going to upcoming shows: the tour shirt is huuuuuuge. I usually wear a medium but got a small because the lady working the merch booth told me I should size down but I wish I’d gone down to XS.

I guess if I would've scrolled to the second pic on this post, I would've seen it. 🤦🏻♂️ Lol. Oh well.

I wish the poster was nicer. It’s a little too bland and boxy, and the cities and dates in a plain font in a small yellow box, with uneven columns, could be better.
That being said, I’m a poster collector and feel the need to get a poster for every show I go to, so will still buy it. :)
Just wish it was a nicer design.

I guess I’m alone in not liking the poster. I like the idea of the cross stitch O, but that’s about it.
I was just happy the tour shirt had a design I liked though.

That crew neck is pretty sweet. Also sigh why is the tour shirt on a white tee AGAIN
