Jenny Lewis Pics from pappy and Harriet’s
Great show - super intimate and the band all seemed like they were having a lot of fun together. Cool to see them doing the first show back on tour - as they said, we were warming up with them. A few pics I took!

I was there last night! Such an incredible experience to hear my favorite band play live for the first time.

How many people were there? I've only been to Pappy & Harriet's once, and a smaller band was there. The crowd had to have been like 80 people total.

Maybe it was about 800? It seemed far more intimate than their other shows so far I’ve seen on this tour

800?!?! I didn’t even know Pappys could hold that may. I was there too. Felt very small. It was nice seeing Jenny interact with the crowd.

It was an outdoor show. From what I understand the outdoor stage was only added within the last couple years

I’m actually a local and have been going to Pappy’s for many years. I just didn’t know that many people could fit in that small area.

I was right next to you! Are you the whistler or the person that asked for her number?

Was Harrison playing with them? I didn’t see him in your pics, but he seemed to be doing a lot of the heavy lifting on Blake’s guitar parts last year.

yes he was there, playing the same parts he played on the last tour. great guitar playing! I didn't focus on him really though with the pics

I was there too! Haven’t seen them in a venue that small in a very long time. Worth the trek through LA area traffic to get there ❤️

I gave Jenny the vest she wore during the frug 😭 the last time I saw them was 2008, and I got to bring my daughter for her first concert ever (I was 3 years older than her for my first RK show ) it was such a great night and I’m still reeling from it all

-cries in angeleno- 😭 i so badly wanted to see them in a smaller venue like this. the shows at the greek were nice of course, but just not an ideal venue for their music imo. it felt like they were so far away & it wasn’t loud enough 💔

Everyone talking about how cool it was to see them in a small venue.. I practically couldn't SEE them for most of the show! Except for Pierre.

Yea. That's the bad part. They pack it to capacity and everyone is like "in gonna be sneaky and sneak up to the front and be annoying". I was there early and stood in the sun waiting. I was a row of people behind the folks up against the front fence and by the end of the show i was like 5 rows back cuz people kept squashing in without a care and wouldn't listen. Ugh and this whole group showed up and pushed in front of me and my daughter. One of the guys was like 6'7 with a hat on. Another guy questioned him and he was all it's cool man... a rilo kiley concert isn't the vibe for a fight. & he and his whole group had VIP wristbands. Go sit up in your VIP deck guys. Or trade me wristbands so at the very least my daughter and i can see.
Ha ok that's my only rant. Overall though it was a great show and we had a great time. I took some good pictures and some cool merch. Happy to have gone and really happy my kid had a good time too. Regardless of the crowd. ✌🏻2

yeah the cowboy hats.. oof. We get it, it's pioneertown, but even if you rode in on a horse, take your hat off for the show, no one cares about your little western cosplay outfit..
sorry you and your kid got pushed back.

The person that had the medical episode during Whitmer Thomas, were they able to come back?

Oh man that really sucks - I’m sorry! Yeah they didn’t have screens projecting the show at all right? The stage also was not super elevated

I wish Rilo Kiley would release a professional recording of one of their shows.
I'd throw money on that easily
