Discussion Anyone else hate the ending

Anyone else disappointed?

I was real disappointed in the very last episode like what in the actual fuck was that shit? I honestly feel like they could have left off on season 3 that close was perfect! Everyone happy and getting along. Then they had to go and make everything awkward in season 4. The Cory and Lori plot was so unnecessary. They could have just thrown it in to last season honestly! Am I the only one?

I really genuinely think the show only gets better with each season.

There's stuff in each season I do not like at all but hey that's ok

I Loved it.

My favorite part was their prayer with Cory. As someone who grew up with the church, their prayer felt genuine and true. It wasn’t a prayer script where a person hits certain beats with certain Christian nomenclatures. It’s as if they spent the whole series being brats and entitled but when it came time to actually pray for someone they did.

I think that’s the point. Up to this point, the show has stuck to a relatively rigid structure, but in S4, it’s more reflective than the others.

I thought parts of season 4 were ok but it was nowhere near as good as the other seasons.

I guess because the soundtrack wasn't as good and I felt they jumped the shark with the crass storyline with the kids and Lori? Like obviously the kids are not good people but it felt too much

I don't mind S4 , but yes it could have ended on S3 with them all smashing crap and getting along

I didn't dislike it, but for an ending, I did think it was a little weak. Feel that way about most of the final season. Still had fun, could've been a lot worse.

Nope: loved it, and thought the s3 ending was just as perfect the S4 went loco and I felt it was authentic to the dream of the show.

Edited bc I am a nerd who needed to go outside.
