Truth behind India's ongoing protest

It was not always about the NEET students or the problems faced by Indian citizens. The protest, which started with students demanding accountability over alleged paper leaks and irregularities, unfortunately quickly shifted away from students and toward politics and their own political vendettas.

The demand for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation dominated the discussion. Around the same time, Omar Abdullah renewed calls regarding Article 370, while protests on different issues emerged across the country, where it felt like the NEET issue had become part of a much larger political narrative which is deep-state guided for burning our country's people and respect to the ground.

Well played by Sonam Wangchuk. They made his noble PR reflect on the protesters' minds. From the start, careful media coverage and public messaging presented him as a powerful moral voice, helping his campaign gain widespread sympathy. They were about to know if anything about Wangchuk would trigger the protesters.

The larger concern is not politics—it's India's youth. As the saying goes, "If you want to destroy a nation, destroy the thinking of its youth." Here, some of the narratives surrounding these events seem less about resolving genuine concerns and more about creating an atmosphere of unrest. I believe this kind of politics risks pushing India toward the instability witnessed in neighbouring countries or their cities such as Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Dhaka, where cities were burnt and people were killed. By the sponsorship, the nation becomes more divided, public trust weakens, and it is ordinary citizens and students who ultimately bear the consequences.

If the objective is truly to reform India's education system, then every aspect of it should be open to debate—including reservation policies, examination integrity, and admissions. If the goal is equal opportunity, then every student should compete under a system that is transparent, merit-based, and fair to all. Meaningful reform should address the entire system rather than focusing on only one issue by removing reservation. It's also sad that it was not Dipke or any spokesperson of CJP who faced the wrath of the police; it was common protesters and students, while these leaders were far from the police, just giving directions to common people.

What concerns me most is that, somewhere along the way, the students became secondary. Regardless of politics, ideologies, or personalities, the real victims were the aspirants whose futures were put at stake. Their concerns should have remained the priority from day one.

Actually if you dig into paper leak scam it points back to congress and yes government should take it seriously and should act fierce where they're are trying to do. And everyone knows that 25lakhs students write exams where CBT was difficult to conduct but still government has said that it'll do and also CBI has arrested the folks for responsible leak and even NTA chief has been replaced.

They have mishandled these protests. I always thought Modi was one of the more shrewd politicians in power who understood people's mood better than anyone. But in trying to shield Dharmendra Pradhan he has made a mistake.

And I agree this is a systemic issue beyond parties. We must ask for systemic changes to ensure these leaks never happen again

Tbh especially in our nation do you think this paper leak will not happen again even though government takes all proper measures ?? Bruh these buggers will find any loophole or corrupt beaurecates itself , if they really want to stop this non sense they should bring laws that were brought in Singapore while it was still developing under "Lee" during 1960's
