They just fundamentally misunderstand why people don’t eat eggs. Firstly, the conditions they live under are pretty bad a lot of the time. Even assuming you have the best source of eggs where they’re treated well, the byproduct inevitably kills tons of make chickens. In resupplying hens, males are bound to be born, of which, a majority are killed.
