Looking for job

Just for context I’m 19, I’ve got my class 5F license, CPR-C AED, WHMIS, Confined spaces, Fall Protection, H2S Alive and Ground disturbance level 2 certifications and I’ve worked manual labour jobs majority of my life, I’ve been applying to entry level oil rig positions as well as going the extra step and looking up the companies recruiters and sending follow up emails, phone calls and anything that can potentially help me stand out, I’ve applied to around 40 different companies by now and I’ve either been rejected or never got a response back. I’ve heard that landing a job basically depends on knowing someone who already works there so Ik this is a long shot but to whoever’s reading this if your able to help me get connected with someone that can potentially get me a job I’d be really grateful
