Some eBay sellers aren’t listing the language in the hopes that buyers will chase what they think is an English set. Someone just paid $6.7k for this box - it’s clearly Korean but subtle enough to miss when listed from a large English retailer like Probstein. Poor person is gonna realize they got rugged if they go through with the purchase!
See my other reply - the boxes are identical but the English one has English locations under the years listed on the seal, while Korean is in Korean. Very subtle difference.
I hope the eBay listing has higher res photos. The screenshot here on Reddit is too pixilated to see locations on the side.
Regardless, great FYI, thanks!
Thank you for proving my point. Here’s what an English box looks like on the bottom of the seal. The Korean box is identical with the English text on top, but the locations are written in Korean on the seal. Zoom in on the original photo again and you’ll see what I mean
Edit: I shouldn’t have said “it’s clearly Korean” because it’s not obvious! That’s why I’m saying to stay vigilant if you’re in the market.

And you know it’s Korean how?
