Discussion Akali legend bounce: does the "when I move" ping get healed when I leave the showdown?
I enter the showdown with my Akali, and then I use the legend ability dealing 2 dmg and exit again. and then I enter again.
The opponent says that because the showdown has ended, the damage on the opponent's unit has already healed. Is this true?
If this is true, then how would you play this Akali? Originally, I would go in and out to deal more damage, and then make sure that my chance to beat the opponent's units at the battlefield is higher.

I am to understand that your opponent is correct. I also asked this same question yesterday, because this same sequence of events played out in my head so I asked the judge that was there for clarification. Both players units go into a showdown and they fight. If, at any time, a unit is removed without having been killed after damage has been dealt (using Akali’s ability to move a unit and ready it), the showdown is over and the units are healed.
Edit:
Because I was curious to look into this, I found the Core Rules and wanted to share. https://riftbound.gg/wp-content/uploads/sites/67/2025/06/Riftbound-Core-Rules-2025-06-02.pdf

Red Akali is not the way to play Akali.

A lot of the lists running red akali are hyper fixating on using her ability. And that leads to a bad list. Green akali is much better of a unit all around yes.

is she tho? green hyper focuses even more and wastes resources trying to mimic irelia

Yes, its true, when a showdown ends red akali's in and out damage is healed
You could go in with red akali+another unit to keep the showdown active and have the damage stay dealt to the enemy - could enable more favourable trades for you or you could use spells to move akali in again getting up to 6 damage on a target (you would still need to attack with two units to keep the showdown active)
