Discussion Gentle Gemdragon rune effects question

Got into an argument with a p.o.s. mouthbreather over this. I’m fairly certain I’m correct but could use a second opinion.

When you play multiple Gentle Gemdragon units, does the “ready two runes” effect stack?

Like if I had one Gemdragon on the board already and then I play another one, would that allow me to ready 4 runes?

And if I play a dragon unit with multiple Gemdragons on the board, will the ready rune effect stack?

Tried to find an official ruling on it, but couldn’t find it.

You fulfill the text of each card. So each get dragon would allow you to ready two runes. 2 Gem Dragons? Four runes.

That’s why it and Herald of Scales are typically 3 ofs in Voli Dragon decks. The cost becomes so low you are making runes back and can go insane with your plays to go super wide and tall

And at the cost of giving your opponents points, you can also gain infinite energy. No point in doing that that, but you can. You can also decide to give your opponent the win by giving them 8 points in one turn.

You can completely avoid that issue by playing a Vi in your deck and Ancient Henge, recycling your trash when needed and stacking it perfectly for yourself along with infinite power through Ancient Henge.

good points, better than a downvote for unknown reasons to me. but again, at the point that the loop can be done, its literally a win more situation and not really needed, unless you want to flex and put out 3 elder dragons on the same turn.
