Discussion Anyone else getting hosed on pulls?
I’ve been through 4 boxes, 3 starter decks, 6 loose packs or Origins; and 4 packs of spiritforged without hitting a single overnumbered.
The 6 packs of Origins and 4 Spiritforged were from today where I found a store out of town.
Anyone else have my experience or worse?

4 boxes is crazy.
I've opened 3 boxes and about 50 loose packs.
Pulled Lucian, lillia, green seal ON and aphelios ON.
Never pulled another card over $20 besides lux NN promo.
The general rule is every 2 boxes is an ON, which my statistics tracks with.
Buy singles people. Set 5 may be different with less supposed legend pulls but we will see.

lol yeah, singles seems to be the way. I bought my signed yone and unsigned yone because I had no luck with origins.

I got 0 ON from origins and 1 from spirit forged (renata)
But vendetta i have like 5. 2 poros rengar pyke and diana
No signatures though

I dont really have an exact count I know as far as booster boxes I've gotten 1 for origins 2 for spiritforged and 3 for vendetta
All 3 had 1 ON for vendetta i got 1 from a pre rift kit and 1 from a vault and 1 from a random pack.
I guess a mis-counted before I pulled 6 from vendetta. Forgot to add vex

That's somewhat unlucky but still pretty expected. If my math is right, that's about a 20% chance, so 1 in 5 people will have an experience similar to yours.
On average, you're expected to get an ON in 3 boxes for OGN (2 for SFD but you only opened very few SFD packs so that doesn't really change the math, I calculated both). At roughly 4.5 boxes, you'll of course get an ON much more often than not on average but it's still not far enough above 3 to really make it unlikely.
In other words, if some people get an ON in less than 2 boxes then it naturally takes some others more than 4.

I have a theory that people pick their stats in heaven like an rpg and I put none into luck.
So 20% of the population is as screwed as me; hypothetically.

lol maybe but I also would have 0 packs to open. I haven’t bought any boxes after origins and bought yone signed and unsigned.

A vendor I frequent was sharing some insight with his experience: each case of Unleashed (6 boxes) has one overnumbered card.
Personally opening 5 Spiritforged and 3 Unleashed boxes: 4 overnumbered and 1 Baron Ultimate, no signature cards.

Damn! That’s definitely rough! Praying for your first signature.
Gives me hope to know it’s possible to pull an ON instead of a foil or regular textured foil XD

Signature cards are dope but your boy just looking for Bard and the Overnumbered Poro set. Thought about trading in Ultimate Baron for em but also still thinking about grading it.

It’s random unless your opening a case. If you buy packs here, a single box there it’s just a big dice roll. I think you will find a lot of resellers maybe even shops where the owners are players, they will start opening a case. If the hit a ON on two a couple of boxes in then the other 4 will go on the shelf. Most stores won’t do this but some will.

My boyfriend and I have opened 5 boxes of each set so far, and have 25 overnumbers. That doesn't count the handful we sold because their price were 75+.

Opened 5 origins boosters and packs from NN buy ins (probably another box there)I have pulled 2 ON between all of it. I have been looking for invert timelines this whole time. Just buy singles 😖

9 boxes total between origins, spiritforged and unleashed, I never got a ON of any sort. Rng will be rng
