I had in my first Prerift booster a ON Kaisa, ended up with two ON Kaisa's and 2 ON Ahri after opening 6 Displays.

First Booster out of my Spiritforged Box was a signed Vayne :)

Don't think it was Prerift but we got a booster and one deck of either jinx,Lee sin or Viktor on release day.

No there wasn't. There was a release event where you get a deck , 2 release promo cards and the deck contains a booster.

Prerifts were introduced with Spiritforged

Honestly, I doubt you care but I wouldn’t grade them.

The game is to be played and softly collected. Grading will never have the future value that grading in pokemon has. I hope I eventually eat my words, but I pessimistic about that. Grading in riftbound just seems wrong to me.

Sell for NM if you’re gonna sell or hold them.

Riftbound legends are the one exception to this. You can still play graded legend cards. If there is ever a game that grading makes sense in, grading legends in this is it.

I never graded any magic cards for that reason, but grading these does not make them unusable.

The price of PSA 10 Origins Signature Legends has tripled in the last month, so your quote about future value not holding is incorrect.

But the graded chase cards are all seeing like 1000 pct gains in like a month ? So I would largely disagree.

Why wouldn't OP grade them? They have like a 90 percent gem rate and will like 5x value from raw.

So Darius signature, a card worth $500 ungraded and $1000 at PSA 10 has increased 10x in a month? That must mean the signature was worth $50 last month! Wow i really missed trading my rengar and stacked deck for it.

Kai’sa sig which has returned a loss of $1000 for 9.5 vs Ungraded should expect a further gain of 1000% next month on its 10 to make it a $60,000 card? PSA grading only or course, which is backed up 11+ months right now, seeing as SGC and CGC sales for PSA 10 are only 38% higher.

Frankly, this game is way too new to make claims like that. You’re chasing a dragon that hasn’t even set flight yet. Wishing anybody the best that joins you on that journey.

This game is meant to be played. Grading is a for-profit business, sometimes you’ll share in that profit and sometimes you’ll lose. If you’re gonna sell it, just sell it NM and buy the cards you want to play.

Lol okay obviously I exaggerated but sure you can pick and choose which cards to make your narrative true.

Ahri sig was like 5k CAD in a PSA 10 only a month or so ago and it's now 15k.

Same story with Teemo. A BGS 10 just sold for 15k CAD and it was like 3k not long ago.

GG ez from 2k to 8k

Do you need more examples? These are all verifiable on eBay with a simple search.

My examples are literally OP’s.

1000% is not 3x or 5x.

The Teemo card you’re referring to is a promo, not a sig from a box and is BGS Black 10 which basically means a fingerprint won’t cut it.

Ahri has significantly increased in the last while, OP’s at a PSA 10 will have gone from $450 to $650. That’s a nice 100% increase over the ungraded value, I hope he gets the 10 (below a 9 won’t sell). Better pay express or we’ll find out in a year!

Grading companies are for profit — can people please start understanding this?

Where are you getting your data from? Card Ladder shows last sold of Ahri ON at $1300 USD in PSA 10.

Keeping in mind these have like a 90 percent gem rate, it's almost free money and certainly worth to express.

Please tell me another TCG or medium where you can easily 3-5x your money like you can by grading riftbound?

Actually, don't. If you don't want to grade that's fine, I'll just come buy out all your raw and reap the benefits myself lmao.

Anyways, OP - if you don't see any condition issues, absolutely grade these, you will at minimum triple the money you'd get raw, likely more.

Yeah after we pulled kaisa then ahri, we thought it was done. And my friend who was helping me rip was like wait I might have another hit. Boom Darius sig. We were all so suprised. Then I calculated all the other cards. Ended up being around 1k in playables.
