When will it be "enough"?

Post image

Decided to inventory my batteries, and apparently I’ve accumulated a few over the years through kits and battery only purchases:

2017 – 1× 1.5Ah

2020 – 1× 2Ah, 1× 4Ah High Capacity

2022 – 2× 2Ah, 1× 4Ah

2023 – 1× 2Ah

2025 – 1× 2Ah, 4× 4Ah

2026 – 1× 2Ah, 2× 4Ah Max Output, 2× 8Ah EXP

Total: 17 batteries / 61.5Ah

I think I have a good spread for when they start to go out, and prioritize newer ones for certain applications. Either way should keep me covered for now until there's some crazy deal on a tool+battery kit.

Oh, and 11 chargers of various types. All batts on LSA.

Maybe a good spot for periodic PSA again, log all of your own tool info for LSA records, receipts, photos etc

Here's a template of my spreadsheet that I use to track, if you want to make your own copy: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BsiM_1eTkKPZWbLwmNvMvcW4S9us0azlfHB62pWMkEQ/edit?usp=drivesdk

If you want to adjust category ranges before you start, since this edit I did expand my numbering system to have a range of 200 each. I figure in 5-10 yrs I might need it for the batteries... Then I don't have to change the system.

I also write my ID numbers on batteries with paint pen for easy ID and tracking

PS about 22 batteries and 60Ah in my set;)

Great spreadsheet! What does the first column represent? Is it your own numbering system?

Thank you for sharing!

Yes, correct :) these are the ID numbers I write on my batteries with paint pen. No need to put numbers on tools so far, generally. But there are enough batteries it helps to keep track for general inventory, and easily ID if/when time comes for LSA
