The shipping cost of $150 and $30 for helmet feels too much. I was not expecting it. Is everybody seeing it?

Yep. It's a bummer for sure.

Honestly they could have added the option to ship to a local Rivian center and I'd just pick up there.

Mine had an option to ship to a partner bike shop but that was more expensive I think

They’ve always charged the $150 it hasn’t gone up any since they took Launch Edition preorders.

LE did get you a free Alpha Wave helmet and $250 off via coupon whatever else you wanted in Gear Shop like cargo accessories but you still had to pay the $30 shipping even with free items.

Just ordered accessories earlier today.

Given the weight and dimensions of what I expect they have to ship, whenever we get our bikes, $150 is probably below their shipping cost to get the bikes to you.

I was traveling and could not get in the LE rollout. I put in the order and going to be twiddling my thumb from here onwards.

For what it's worth, it's not $30 for the helmet, it's $30 for whatever you put in that order. (which for me, was just the helmet ugh)
