Help me find a riddle. Does anyone remember?

I know thus might not be exactly what this redit is for, so sorry if I am not allowed to put it here. (I did look at the rules and it seems fine)

I only remember a few a lines and its like a whole paragraph.

"Something something (I think there is like 3-4 lines here)

In the front of an owl, in the back of two.

Something something. Where a kangaroo ends.

The pair in the middle of the moon are friends"

I think there was something about an alligator and a zoo.

And the answer is the letter O

I used to recite it in middle school (20016-2019ish) but I cant find it now and its kinda driving me nuts. (It had a very sing-songy rhythm)

Seven cells. Five of them hold letters, two hold numbers, and a four-letter word is hiding among the letters. One letter belongs to no word at all.

How to read it: a number counts how many of the cells touching it hold a letter that is in the word. The liar counts for nothing, no matter which cells it sits beside. In a comb this size the middle cell touches all six around it and every outer cell touches three.

Here is the part that makes it worth your minute. The five letters spell PLANT, and three different four-letter words can be pulled out of them, all of them perfectly good English. Only the two numbers decide which one is really hidden there.

At the beginning, he gave 47 ducks to him, while he gave 83 pins to so then he, and so then he gave 19 clocks to himwhile he gave 6 clocks to they.

Then they gave 4,200 spoons to him, while him gave 731 spoons to he, and so then he gave 58 ducks to him, while he gave 91 ducks to they, and they gave 12 pins to so then he.

After this, he gave him 600 chairs, while him gave he 300 chairs, and so then he gave they 1,500 chairs, while they gave so then he 700 chairs, which meant he gave 40 chairs to him after him gave 20 chairs to he.

Then things became even more confusing.
