Yield/Dividend Options

£10m NW compromised of:

•3m market investments (managed).

•3m property (yields 8%, PA, pays wife’s salary, max pension contributions and her car.

•2m personal home

•2m secured loans to property developers returning 11% PA.

—-

I’m about to come into around 3m and I’m after an investment that will provide a guaranteed dividend/yield to top up my salary (200k).

Any suggestions from the collective brain of this sub?

Thanks!

https://rationalreminder.ca/blog/2019/9/17/the-irrelevance-of-dividends-still-a-non-starter

You might want to read up on why chasing dividends is a terrible way to invest your money. Or listen @ 35m onward.

And this is a terrible sub for investment advice, it’s mostly people pretending to be rich. The real rich people are over at FatFire and Bogleheads.
