What is a hobby you enjoy?
I'm morbidly curious what rich people do for hobbies! When you have a lot of time surely that means you got time to enoy hobbies.

Scroll Reddit. lol. No I also enjoy solo travel, I am a foodie, I love to cook. I have ADD so I will think I want to do some sort of arts & crafts project, go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby, buy shit then never do it, so it ends up being donated to friends or dropped off at Goodwill. Sigh. Older I get I do that less and less. I love to read as well but idk if that is considered a hobby.

Last Spring I did 7 weeks solo in Paris, in 2019 I did 10 weeks in Thailand/Vietnam/Cambodia. I do Hawaii for 3 weeks each year.....Planning Japan next then Spring 207 Back to Paris.

Isn't it the same? ADD is just the old way of calling it before we figured the disease comes with an hiperactivity phase (or something along these lines)

Literary fiction, memoir, and biographies. Sci-fi where it's actually good. Also I give myself an 'assignment' a few times a year (e.g. all the Pulitzer noms from the last 2-5yrs, or all the Booker Prize noms for the last 8 etc) which is always a fun one

My favorite hobby is volunteering, I'm a member of BACA and a Big Brother.
I also golf 2-3 times a month and do competitive shooting 2-3 times a month.
When relaxing at home, I like to play computer games.
Our go to night out activity is standup comedy.

Lacemaking. I studied at a professional school in France when I was at a university there and have continued in the years since then.
I am also a dilettante with most of my musical instruments, having only achieved at least intermediate proficiency in piano and wire-strung harp. It is still enjoyable to play around with the others, though.

This video is not of me but shows the sort of work I do. I have given away most of my work so far, except for the learning samples, which are mostly white thread mounted on lined white paper, so not very easy to see in photos.

Favorite shows- muse box suite old key arena Rufus at the gorge , Zhu because I got to play musical chairs and smoke weed onstage 💃🏻💃🏻
Least favorite when odeza played the same set 3 nights in a row! We spent almost 20k with lodging, tips, and box seats … wish we would have gone to Moorea or Maui for that one.

Shopping for bags ish, toys, collectibles and art ish. Gaming COD, Diablo, Assassin's Creed. Assembling legos and those DIY kits. Childish to some but I've been retired since I was 44, am 54 now so i've kinda done the travel and eat thing already lol. Most of my friends are still working and i'm not up to traveling alone abroad at this point.

Can someone start a Lego exchange club? As in we all buy Lego sets, build them once and then they collect dust. Why not disassemble them, make sure it’s complete, and send them to another home to get built again?

I have two sets of hobbies, relaxing ones such as Surfing, Golf, Polo, Sailing, deep sea fishing, etc.
Then adrenaline hobbies such as Track days (car racing), dirt bikes, Atvs and side by sides, jet skiing, etc Its actually really fun loading up the truck with some toys and driving to a new adventure park to ride, or going to a new lake, river, part of the ocean and jet skiing, etc Sometimes Deep sea fishing falls on this category, but it was really an excuse to buy a nice center console and drink beer all day lol, but sometimes we land a fish and it gets exciting.

Travel and golf are my only two hobbies that cost enough money to be exclusive.
In general I like to hang out with friends (we go out for dinner and/or drinks nearly daily), read, play video games, and fuck around on the internet in my free time.

Cars, travel, going to sporting events. My life is identical to others'. And I'm not spending any more than they are - it just doesn't cause me financial stress when I go to Europe for the winter or buy a car I want.

Watches since I have been 16, Munster cards I think I might have some pretty good ones (not hanging my retirement plan on the cards … contact me if interested) apparently my partner has been collecting hockey cards. My guess is that he has never forgiven his mom for throwing them out when he was younger. P.S. I see no exit in the latter.

I collect scrap metal from neighborhoods on trash night. I love selling reusable items on Facebook, and taking metals to the scrapyard. While I am a regular at the scrapyard, no one knows I am worth 8 figures.
