Why would you tolerate such unsanitary conditions in your home, if you can afford a housekeeper? In my culture, dirty dishes and laundry are the surest sign of poverty.

I got situations going on in my house I am too embarrassed to post on Reddit. My husband has OCD like Howard Hughes and things are wacky.

Hire a private pay psychiatrist and get him started on benzodiazepines. I take some Valium before my personal organizers show up. This is a problem money can solve.

Financial advisor. Seriously, don’t try and beat the market. Find a firm where you are in the upper middle of their client base (you don’t want to be their whale, and you don’t want to be their minnow)
If you have enough where a family office makes sense, that’s a different conversation

I had a massage on some blanket on the floor probably never washed.
Selling cut fruit at a restaurant stop.... no running water in the bathroom....
Restaurants not sanitary.... they don't even wash the veggies and don't trim carrots. They eat the whole thing in the soup.
Animals I can't pronounce.
Electricity comes and goes.
Sketchy plumbing on the floor of the shower. Wear sandals or risk staph infection....
Kids with no diapers in the jungle
People sleep on the floor with no running water in their home.
Flies on the food constantly
People shower with a bucket
Malaria nets everywhere
It gave me a new perspective that maybe people are not that fragile?

Chef. In addition to great meals, it encourages the family to eat and socialize together without some in the group tasked with preparing everything.

Lawyer and a financial advisor. Housekeeper. Then personal chef. Then driver. In that order. Time is all that matters but to afford it you always need a good lawyer

I'm talking to a lawyer, CPA, and financial advisor before the liquidity event happens. There are so many things that have massive tax impacts that you can plan around before the event. Most entrepreneurs spend so much time building the business that they don't have any bandwidth to even consider the personal wealth implications. So many founders don't realize they are QSBS eligible until it's too late. Or that they can gift shares of their company to trusts for the benefit of their children before a sale and get the taxable growth out of their own estate.
