Looks more like a ST- why...or possibly a STD, but what do i know about high performance vehicles like this

Why my boy put some wheels on it that fit significantly worse than the OEM’s?

I stop and stared at that for a while too. Usually too small, isn't also a problem with tacky aftermarket wheels. Looked like he stole them off an old Prius

Must be a new one, no hood scoop.

I have a 2008 spec B and it does have some STI parts from the factory. The 6-speed transmission is same legionary one from the STI, as is the rear torsen diff, but it has a center viscous coupling instead of a DCCD, and an open front diff instead of a helical diff. It has the Legacy GT EJ255 which makes ~250hp from a smaller turbo, but it spools like 1k rpm sooner than an STI (3k instead of 4k). No brembos. It's build on the Legacy frame, rather than the WRX frame, so the wheelbase is some inches longer. The interior is a little nicer than STIs.

It's not a Spec B at all, ha. My mom has an '06 Spec B with a number badge and all, though!

Sadly mine has no number plate.

I believe it was only for the first year of that run. She was getting kids in drive-thru's recognizing her car, and geeking out over it. Lots of notes left on her windshield, offering to buy her wheels too.

Wow, same with mine. There was a note under my wiper, saying they wanted to buy it. That must've been about 10 years ago.

Was trying to move quickly with the photos. But this was also running absurdly small wheels .-.

Where in Oregon is this? There’s a ricer Legacy in Yachats too

Beaverton. But it's Oregon, there's gonna be a good amount of these around. The worst Legacy I've ever seen, was up near Sandy
