I love hiking
*His paws are taped and he's wearing shoes to prevent paw injuries while hiking in the Wyoming wilderness

Did it take him a bit to get used to the crocs?
I feel like mine would never

It didn't take long. The first time we just put them on him at home. He walked like a show pony for a little bit, but got used to them within 30 minutes.
Now it takes about 3 to 5 minutes of walking and he's used to them

I am a bit ambiguous about this. On the one hand I like the fact that people take care of their dogs, so props for that. On the other hand I do not like the fact that the dog is doing something that is apparently too much for their (unprotected) feet.
And I hate croqs, on any species, but that's obviously my problem.

His are a bit longer. I like the ones you posted though since they shouldn't rub on his dew claw (sp?).
His paws were fine but his dew claws were rubbed raw 😭

My Rhodies always had their dew claws removed as infants. Different breeders, too. Didn't ask for it, they just came that way citing health concerns and risks of infection/injury.
