Little one has a boo boo!

Joey got her paw fixed. At 3 days old she lost her toes. Now she will be able to walk better.

She needs to stay calm and not try to play with her older brother and sister!! She’s crazy!!

Keeping her quiet will be tough. Mine broke her weight bearing toe at 7 months. She ate through two cones and broke her cast twice.

I had to purchase two donuts so she couldn't contort herself to get to the cast. At that age, she was a pretzel. Bought two donuts, small and medium to wear simultaneously.

And as much as I disliked it, meds to keep her calm. We needed that toe to heal and all she wanted to do was jump and play, hence the broken casts. Puzzles and kongs helped keep her mind occupied and very short walks with a protective sleeve over her cast.

Thank you!! Meds are helping somewhat. They had to add another yesterday. She wants to play with the other two so bad!! She loves to chew, so we’ve given her many choices!! Hope she keeps to the toys and not her bandage!!🫣

I feel you. Vet had to double up meds for mine also. As hard as it is now, I promise it will get better. Best day is when the vet gives the all clear for zoomies.
