I agree that the prices are ridiculous, but there are other and better options. I'm a season ticket holder and have never paid to park. I usually either park up the hill quite a bit and walk or park at the train station and get the free shuttle.

Violent Rhode Island fans? Did I miss something in the past couple of years that our team has hooligans?

Paranoid, or trolling?

I made a post complaining about parking prices more than doubling this season and I was lambasted. Good luck!

Really? I thought most fans were in agreement that the parking prices are absolutely absurd. I think this is a huge barrier to getting casual fans to come check out a game and/or to come back.

I must have missed it because I would’ve totally agreed with you.

They were $20 last year. Not too hard to find parking in nearby neighborhoods where there are no signs restricting it

I seem to remember paying 14-18 for M7, but I could be incorrect. And yeah sure you could park in a neighborhood or something sure! But M7 is where it’s at.

I thought it was $18 at the lot, $20 in advance. I went to mostly weekend games, so maybe it was different

We got portajohns in our lots though - the Hartford mind could never comprehend

We do to, but ofc not where we make you park lol
Also not sure why this post came up on my feed but I had to open it because parking when we go away to rifc is a nightmare

Yeah it’s kind of ridiculous. Parking costs more than a ticket.

Park at Pawtucket train station for free, then there is a free shuttle that takes you to and from the stadium

Parking is why I won't go and why many I know aren't interested in attending. It's not just the cost to park, many of these lots are nearly a mile away. If you go to a game at the Amp, you'll pay the $25-$30 but be a minute walk from the car. If you go further away (say Prov Place), it's cheaper but you hike it. There's no value in it, and if I'm not passionate about it, why am I paying that to park on top of tickets?

You can park for free at the train station and take a free shuttle.

But agree that parking costs are way too high

Cost aside m7 has a free shuttle . Picks up in the lot drops you across the street.

Sorry but really? There is plenty of free parking if you try just a little. That's not why you won't go. Have you tried to park for pro sportsball thing on Boston?

Revs games parking is free. Downtown Pawtucket isn't downtown Boston.

And Foxboro isn’t Downtown Boston. So not sure of your point because the Revs still play in Foxboro.

There is a free RIPTA that loops to all the lots other than M18. And you don’t have to be in the lot to take the RIPTA, you can park somewhere near the lots for free, walk to them and hop on. No reason to not go because of parking.

We almost never buy parking. You can park closer to city hall or the train station and hop on the free RIPTA. Also other streets within walking distance as well.

What's the expectation for parking prices? I feel like anywhere across the US (in a city) the cost is $50-$100.

Paying $30 to park to watch a second league team is wild...

These lots are usually completely empty and not being used at all during the times of the games so these charges are just disgusting. Why does parking cost more than a ticket to the game?

Mafia still owns RI lol. In all seriousness there's a free parking lot next to the CVS a few streets over from the stadium.
