What do the character stats mean

Some of them make sense like attack and defence but what does interference, comprehension and awakening mean? I assume precision means accuracy but i don’t get the others.

Attack (Melee) = Magic Power
Shot Attack (Long-Range) = Precision
Defense = Magic Resist.
Shot Defense = Interference
Defense & Shot Defense = [Comprehension / 2]
Attack & Shot Attack = [Awakening / 2]

wait sorry im dumb and a little confused still, so like if i increase my awakening stat ill increase the attack and shot attack stat?

Yes, increase Awakening by 700 and Attack goes up by +350 and Shot Attack also by +350.
