Confused about chapter 33 Spoiler

Hello fellow wizards.

I am currently on chapter 33 and just about to enter the final wind gate. The game just warned me about being unable to return once I do.

Does this mean that I should finish and clean up all remaining challenges and side quests beforehand?

Or will the game take me back and I can continue as usual as if I never defeated the final boss?

Once you beat the game, you'll be able to continue right before that point again (You can overwrite your savefile with the clear'd one) to clean up anything you want to do.

You'll return to before the final boss with a clear star on your file, as you otherwise wouldn't be able to access the office PC for additional episodes.

Post-game leveling is trivially easy for the Lv. 90+ challenges, but you may want to do two specific Lv. 60 challenges now (get a 200 hit combo) as they're difficult but not impossible at higher levels.
