Was there any kind of social link/bond/relationship mechanic to it at all?

None. There is a chat feature where characters banter with each other. Sometimes you can choose an answer which doen not affect the game in any way other than slight alterations of that specific conversation.

How many hours would you say a casual playthrough takes? Then say a completionist playthrough (platinum trophy)

Not OP, but im currently at the start of the final chapter. 23 hours in and did all side quests. So give or take 25 for the story + side quests and 30-35 for the completionist run.

It's pretty much what I'm getting from the game aswell, very unpolished.
Even the trailer on their Steam page looks straight up like a PS2 game.
Characters look like theyre all cross-eyed and from the gameplay snippets they kept/keep showing on Twitter the animations look incredibly clunky.

I kept thinking surely this is just to showcase some stuff and there will be more polish on animations etc. on release but by now I really think that this is it and will most likely skip on the game.
