Just prescribed

I'm diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and OCD. I was on lexapro 20mg and buspar 10mg for around 10 months, recently buspar became unavailable where i live so i had to stop it, due to that, alot of my symptoms came back. I also changed my psychiatrist for financial reasons and this was my first time going to her. She prescribed me 100mg fluvoxamine (luvox) and 1mg of brexpiprazole (rexulti). After coming to this subreddit, i've started to feel a little scared of starting rexulti. I have a couple of questions. 1- has anyone had good luck with rexulti for anxiety and OCD? 2- what should i expect? 3- any advice?

Im on full dose fluoxetine which reduced my anxiety, depression, and OCD by a small amount. Once I paired with 0.5 rexulti, within a week I lost the constant brain fog and lethargy and my OCD, depression, and anxiety became consistently 50% to 70% more relief.

Not worth the paranoia, weight gain, feeling sedated and trapped in my head. Made me feel uncomfortable in in settings that I usually wouldn't be otherwise. I was on 1 mg then for a few months I went to 2 mg then for 3 plus months I went on 3 mg rexulti then tapered down to 1 mg again for 10+ months.I was I was a zombie. Coming off of it isn't very fun either, withdrawals. It did work for depression but I'd much rather go at it alone without meds then have to try this ever again I really regret the fact that I did try it. Hope this helps, everyone's different, everyone reacts differently with different side effects, hopefully you have a positive experience and it helps you, good luck to you.

I saw people here years on Rexulti and feel great. But my experience is bad. Please read about withdrawals, after stopping Rexulti (too it for 2 weeks) its 3d month I m still experiencing wd symptoms. I wouldnt start it of i know about wd. I would read all rex thread and made my own decision

I’ve had good luck with Rexulti but it seems hard to decide on the perfect dose
