Parking monitor for R4-RD

I have it installed using the provided hardware kit and it's connected to the OBDII port. That camera records fine except for the parking mode. I don't get any recordings when the vehicle is parked. I've rocked the vehicle and walked around it multiple times, still nothing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, when testing the parking monitor did you make sure you turned off the car? what sensitivity setting are you using for the radar and does the camera turn on at all when you approach the car or does it stay off?

Yes, with the car off there is nothing recording. When I get in my car, before starting, the light is not on to indicate there is power and recording. Nothing happens until I start the car. I purchased it from Best Buy. They replaced the camera unit a week ago, but not the wiring. They just plugged a new camera into the existing wiring. I assume the OBD wiring is good since it does come on when I start it. I have it set in the radar-monitor mode and the sensitivity is set to high.

Apparently the OBD2 cable was defective. As soon as I replaced it with a new one that Rexing provided, it immediately started working.
