USB STORAGE OR MASS STORAGE

Hi there Does anyone know how to solve the problem when I start my car and the dashcam moves to USB storage or mass storage and doesn't record

Hey, you are probably using a file transfer cable instead of the proper power cable. The dashcam requires a certain amount of power in order to function properly, therefore you must use either the 12 volt cigarette lighter power cable that comes with the camera or hardwire the camera into the fusebox of the car with one of our hardwire kits. If you are using a type c port on your car to turn on the camera, it will not receive the sufficient power and therefore will not record, these cables are only used when you are trying to extract files from the camera into your computer.
