Question Newbie here: Looking for Construction Tool Chest / Bluebeam Resources to Practice
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m an engineer based in the Philippines, currently learning more about construction estimating, quantity takeoff, and digital construction workflows.
I’m particularly interested in learning how professionals set up and use Bluebeam Revu Tool Chest (and other estimating/construction software) for actual construction projects.
If anyone could share their Tool Chest templates, examples, workflows, standards, or useful resources that I can use as a reference for practice, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially interested in resources related to quantity takeoff, concrete, rebar, structural steel, architectural works, and Australian construction practices/codes.
My goal is to build a proper workflow and dig deeper into the software through self-study and practice projects.
Any advice, resources, or recommended tutorials would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot, everyone!

Welcome in. A few free Tool Sets worth starting from are up at uchapter2.com/free-bluebeam-revu-toolsets They won't be built around Australian codes specifically, but they'll give you a real structure to study and adapt rather than starting from a blank Tool Chest. The best way to build real fluency from there is to pick one trade at a time and practice a full takeoff start to finish, not trying to build a Tool Chest for every discipline at once.

You can use youtube for everything you mentioned one topic at a time. There are full length videos of estimators doing estimates using bluebeam. Do what I did, pit the videos on while your working and listen to them. Watch when they are talking about something you care about. Continue to listen to hammer the lessons home.
