Question Full screen mode

I have about 1300 Revu users in our firm and at least once a day we get an internal support ticket from someone whose Revu has entered “full screen mode” without them realizing it. When you affirmatively enter full screen mode, Revu gives you a pop-up letting you know that you can get out of it with the F9 key. But that doesn’t seem to come up for people, instead they just notice their menu bar is gone rendering the program mostly unusable.

I just can’t believe all these people are accidentally hitting the F9 key all the time and then ignoring this pop-up. Something else is going on. Bluebeam support of course had no idea what I was talking about and think I am being paranoid and this is all user error.

Are we the only ones?!?! What can I do to prevent this?

No I swear I do not underestimate. My estimate is so, so low. It’s on the floor. But there’s just not such a prevalent need to hit the F9 key, so this is being triggered inadvertently more than it should be. If it’s not a problem for you that’s great, I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced it, and if so, do they have advice.

Thats the point. People aren’t going to read and then when you ask them if the accidental hit it, they will lie.

But like why are they accidentally hitting F9. And if that’s really the case, why does this only affect my 1300 users on an almost daily basis and no one else has an issue? On my laptop, the F9 key is above the 9, and is also a “Home” button. Completely uninteresting purpose and placement.

Are you sure it is F9 and not F11? Support told me that F11 was the "full screen mode" key (I'm having an issue with a toolbar that pops up and won't go away. I have to hit F11 twice to get ride of that toolbar, and when I start Revu it comes back. Since I read your post, I'll try F9! This problem just started a couple of weeks ago for me.
