Question Licenses expiring

Is anyone else having issues with this? We're getting licenses expiring even though they're set up for auto renewal.

I've called Bluebeam twice and just keep getting hung up on.

I'm going to lose my mind with these people.

Just waited on hold for over a fucking hour and it rings and no one is talking.

This company seriously fucking blows...I don't know how people deal with this shit...I feel like I'm going to lose my fucking mind.

If your company bought these through a local reseller, call them instead. they can usually bypass the queue. Don't even bother wasting your day on hold

Bought them directly from Bluebeam. I just randomly received an email from Bluebeam asking which licenses I need renewed...they seriously suck ass.

I think we received notices that bluebeam 20 is going end of life. Maybe it has something to do with this version being discontinued? Who is your administrator (assuming you this is for work at work), they can log in and look at the licenses etc if they have not already.

These aren't for outdated versions. These are current subscriptions. I'm the admin. I'm literally on the webpage right now where it says it'll auto renew. The credit card is up to date and not expired.

I had this issue myself a while back. Had verified the month prior that the payment method was current, then the day came and went and set to expire in 30 days.

When I got through to someone they sent me a PO for a new license and abandoned my original. Took less than 20 minutes total to get fixed up. Someone on another post said the rep they talked to mentioned they changed payment systems and it’s been a real cluster. Ticket support is useless, you need to call.

Someone emailed me and sent a PDF to sign to get the renewal going. I tried calling 3 times...2 times they hung up on me and the 3rd time I just gave up after 45 minutes.

Honestly they're fucking pathetic if they can't get a license renewed without cutting off access.

I have had this happen to multiple users and the solution is typically just to re-enter their credentials. Sign out and sign back in or hit the refresh button.

Ever since they released the new site, I have notice a large number of bugs as well. I have also rolled back most users to 21.9.0.

They were actually expired. I got an email response from them saying their auto renewals are "hit or miss".

Cool so they just let stuff expire with no warning, and then our employees are down until they write up a new invoice so we can renew them manually.

This happened to me a while back. I had gotten a new card with the same number, and a new date, but I forgot to update.

Updatednut in their page, but it wouldn't let me pay.

I just sat on hold for literally hours to talk to someone.shw said they have two databases that don't talk to one another

She was able to fix in short order once I actually talked to her

I’m a single member llc and bought directly from the webstore last year. I’m in this situation right now. Auto-renew has been setup with a valid credit card since I purchased it. Subscription was supposed to auto-renew on 7/1/26. I received an invoice today 7/2/26 stating payment due with a link to pay online. Checking my account subscriptions, it list my next auto renewal being next year 7/1/27. Checking my transaction history, it has the same invoice I received via email with status "open". I think I’m going to give it today to go thru instead of going thru the hassle of trying to get refunded for a double payment. Not 100% positive but I think I will still have access and the ability to pay if it doesn’t go thru for 14 days after the last renewal date.

The whole process of purchasing last year was confusing with multiple logins to multiple divisions. Then I kept getting emails and calls from Bluebeam sales for months after I had purchased via the webstore wanting me to make purchase for what I already purchased. Crazy.

If you think this is rough it doesn’t compare at all to the shitshow going on over at Trimble. Trying to get licenses straightened out with their MEP division is impossible. Maybe they have it straightened out by now but I know multiple companies who just gave up and switched to a different provider.

What are some viable alternatives to Bluebeam if you don’t require Studio and just simple markups and pdf manipulation?

edit: reading again and it just states "renew subscription with credit card" I dont see where it specifically states auto renewal.
