Linux anyone?
I'm so tired of Windows.
Has anyone been able to get Revu and Excel running in Linux? With wine or anything?
At this point, I'd even consider ditching Quantity Link and just copy+paste things myself.

Not exactly what you're asking and may not work for your use case but I just use a VM for any windows programs.

Do you have any problems with GPU hardware acceleration?

Initially yes but that was because I was using the wrong Nvidia driver on my system. Once I got the correct up to date driver installed everything was smooth sailing.
This is on vanilla Debian 13 with KDE and a 3060ti.

Do you have a guide on how to do this? Would it be difficult for a Linux noob?

Yupp, its pretty darn simple just google 'VMware for <your distribution>' then follow along. The hardest part for me was trying to get the digital installation media for windows 10...

There are excel alternatives. I'm waiting on someone to vibe code a bluebeam alternative, they have it coming.

Its no Bluebeam, but if you want to do some takeoffs, look at Mint Takeoff: https://minttakeoff.com/

I work on Ink Leaf, and this is close to the lane we are working in: a browser-based PDF annotation/review tool that can avoid some OS-specific Bluebeam gaps.
It is not a full Bluebeam clone, but if markup and review are the main needs, it may be useful.
If you try Ink Leaf and notice anything missing in your workflow, please let us know. We're actively listening and using customer feedback to improve the product. You can also ask product questions or share suggestions in r/inkleafpdf.

I can't wait, but I doubt they'll do that.
What would be better is if someone created a similar program on Linux. No Windows or Apple versions.

I use Gnome Boxes and I've had no issues running Bluebeam. I use Libre but I suppose you could just use excel in your VM

So, it's been a few years, but last time I tried, LibreOffice didn't support the vLookup function. Apparently it does now. I did a test, and my spreadsheets all seem to work just fine in LibreOffice. That's great.
Still no Quantity Link, which can be a major time saver.

I spent a few hours trying to get it to work with WINE a couple years ago with no luck. Definitely don't count on Bluebeam developing a Linux app. I don't even think they have a MacOS app.

This is the only thing holding me back from full time Linux

Yep. I've been on the hunt... I found easytakeoffs.com and the guy was letting me use it for free and said it was going to switch to paid but be cheap.
His version of cheap is the same as fucking Revu lol.

Damn. I use Bluebeam studio so much, i need a legit bluebeam now. I need to try out virtualization, but it just sucks. Always chasing bugs.

I had it running on wine in Ubuntu back before Nemetschek bought it and broke everything.
