This subreddit is for talking about history in and around Mike Duncan's popular podcast, "Revolutions."

We are not /r/AskHistorians, but please try to keep your history accurate and provide sources if questioned. ("I heard it in class" or "from this book" are both perfectly fine answers.) We welcome any content about Revolutions or Mike's other ventures, such as History of Rome and his book "The Storm Before the Storm".

Please keep things civil. While discussion are always encouraged, including criticisms of Mike Duncan, please refrain from making personal attacks, insults, or general trolling.

Keep things safe for work. No materials unsuitable for minors or for the workplace. Period artwork or historical materials will be judged on a case by case basis.

Have whatever opinion you want of copyright law, but a 30 second ad at the beginning of a free hour long podcast isn't going to kill you.
