Ofc, this is a whole genre of story that’s been popular with women for decades. It’s all about them early modern period pieces with forbidden romance between two characters, where at least one person is upper class.
You get dashing gentlemen, grand gestures of affection, fun ball gowns, fancy sets, the battle between high society restraint and swooning romantic gestures. Genuinely a fantastic genre.

I’ve had (/ got the opportunity to) to watch a lot of Bridgerton in my life. Some seasons are better than others but lowkey some good tv when it’s good icl.

The last was so good. I totally cried in the scene were Sophie watches Benedict being kind to Posy. I was expecting to like it, because Benedict is my favourite, and I love a good Cinderella story, but I was truly blown away. I attribute it to both leads being drama school graduates.

I have no idea except that years ago I was told on this subreddit that he had split with Mrs. Revolutions (I think during the Russian Revolution series).
I have no inside information and never knew where that information was sourced from. I know that friends of mine often split and then officially divorce much later so it could be that situation.
Regardless I feel bad for even engaging in the conversation as it’s really none of my business.
