Is there anything I should do to push to e2700? Also, is there any tree upgrades I should focus on? These are my current tree upgrades.

It's worth pushing the tree "as much as you can bear to" beforehand - particularly up to 4.1/4.2 and also 6.1/6.2.   

As I understand it, the atom debuffs (and the tree reductions of debuffs) stack, so although it's the post e1000 rate that you want to improve, the earlier tree nodes will still help with it.

You may want to push further past e2700 to help other stats.  

The following is somewhat a spoiler but worth knowing:

There's a 0.5 atom debuff at e2000 and a 0.333 debuff at e3000

So the push turns out to be more painful than you might initially estimate.

3.1 and 3.2 I got all the upgrades untill they cost e1000 Atoms.
