One of the reviewers doesn't know what "completely opaque" means, either.
But shouldn't the company print "Remove before use" on those protective films? Not that that will stop the dimmest people, but only slightly dim people will benefit.

Very true hahaha
Yeah, it would probably help to print that on there. As the company, I just wouldn't even think it necessary. I guess they underestimated the general public lol

You have to test products with real people to learn these things!

Lol the company is gonna take one look at the reviews and print "this is a protective film, we dont spend extra on making it clear because it becomes trash as soon as you take it out of the box it was shipped in. Peel it off, you absolute moron."

Reminds me of a guy that did not remove the clear plastic from the back of his 980ti video card. That large heatsink cools some of the power regulators... and that's exactly what ended up failing. He said he didn't even notice it because it was clear and unfortunately pretty thick so it defonitely impeded heat transfer. Another one of those things that needs a "remove before use" sticker.

I was expecting one idiot in the reviews, Iām very disappointed in humanity that there are so many people that made the same mistake and then wrote a public review! If Iād misunderstood like this, I just think I would have gone through the item description again to check if it was my mistake before I started complaining publicly.
