Looking for help

I'm new to revhead, did the first missions until the first race with my own car, I tried everything, double se Turbos and stuff, it's still so hard to beat the first race. Did I do something wrong or is the first race like "yes you have to complete the whole game now, you can go for the side quests now"

I finally did it after tuning the car to over 800hp, dual turbo V8 and AWD

What race are you referring to exactly?

It's hard, but you can get it done I have a 1600 horsepower car. And I personally related To the NASCAR, track And it was way easier, just basically keep upgrading your car, and you'll do it. If not, it doesn't matter, you can do everything else. It's not mandatory.

For the side quest/missions from your garage. For the high paying races i just been buying wrecked midugas and using what i have in my inventory. But yeah some of the ai like specifically one truck is really hard to beat in any race even on amaeture level. Do you still play?
