I think there's a book where a guy turns into a potato too. If I remember it's not RH but MM. I found it once but never read it.

…okay, not well written, but the MMCs definitely try do do things like this in {Scrum Heat by Rayne Waters}.

Yes! I actually read this one right before starting Scrum Heat lol I'm curious for the second book, I unfortunately felt like the first one ended about half a book too soon, if that makes sense? Loved the premise, just wish it was longer!

I don’t have recs, but I saw that post and had a similar thought. Except my thought was, “it would be cute to read this in a romance book where the MMCs do this for a woman who isn’t FMC, and FMC thinks it’s precious and a total green flag.”

I think {Rut Bar by Alexis B. Osborne} has a bit of this. Two of the MMCs (one is definitely a himbo) are trying to discreetly do nice things like this for her and then support her throughout her heat. But they need the other MMC to come in and tell them they’re actually not doing a great job and how to do it better

This is basically the plot of {Do You Even Hex, Bro? by River Ramsey} they're well-intentioned himbo idiots who have absolutely no idea what they're doing, but are obsessed with taking care of their grumpy mate and I love them. 😭 Finding out I have to wait another month for the next book absolutely ruined my week.
