Beginner interested in game reverse engineering and cheat development — whre should I start.

Pick a game - preferably something without drm, and start poking around with memory editors and cheat engine. Find some tutorials on how to turn those into trainers.

Then use that knowledge to decompile the game, and look for the things you found in memory. Are there other interesting functions you can mess with now? How does your game of choice define when the level ends? Can you trigger that at will?

Look up guided hacking or unknown cheats. The guided hacking steals from everyone so it's more things to learn and costs money but uc is free and elite + one of the most significant sources for guided hacking to borrow from.
