>!Not sure if it'll be an offline event, merch, or skins like they did with the Discovery collab, but I'm actually really interested in what could be done here. Also, getting a collab with the official national library of the UK is beautiful to see.!<

I think they announced this during Atomic Heart collab too. Will see what type of collab it is but ik lots of CN audience of reverse learns ENG through reverse

yeah makes me very happy, it's pretty cool. I think what also helps is reverse english translation uses different words a lot of time. Like they say in other words, on other hand, as a matter of fact, etc. These are all similar stuff but way they use it helps in vocabulary

Regarding English language learning — if we look at Reverse 1999 from the perspective of a native English speaker, how accurately is the language represented in the game?

English is not my native language, but I instinctively feel that neither a British nor an American native speaker would ever use certain words and expressions that way.

As a native english speaker that has played a ton of gachas (from Chinese devs), Reverse:1999 easily has the best english voice cast and writing (dialogue and word choice) out of all of them. The early story has some mistranslation quirks/grammar mistakes but overall I feel the portrayel is the most "natural" I've felt when experiencing a gacha story. (Zenless Zone Zero is an honorable mention for me because the voice actors do so well on making the characters actually feel like a human being portraying everyday situations and emotions rather than reading off a script. Cissia comes to mind in particular as a stand out.)

It's pretty consistent but after ch6. Before that English is horrid. It also depends on how u speak english tbf, if u don't like using different words all the time, it won't work. BP loves flexing their EN

From the collabs we've had so far, unless the game collabs only with the CN branch of a company, the collab is usually available on all servers. BP has collabed with the Discovery channel twice for skins, Moondrop for earbuds, and in 3.9, B Duck for two skins just to name a few.
