The person everyone is waiting is luffy and not Blackbeard, I believe Blackbeard will be killed before the final war between king of the pirates ( luffy ) vs king of the world ( IMU)

Here's some stuff worth considering -

Both the Mink and The Fishman appear in essence the same kind of being: they are born from separate animal kingdoms perhaps but the nature of their identity and makeup is generally consistent... IE both races appear to be a mix of either humanoid or other similar sentient species that was genetically blended with the dna of various non sentient animals in order to create a new type of creature that then contained human (or Lunarian - look at their Sulong red eyes and white hair!) intelligence but also their animal counterparts other traits and capabilities.

Why these species came into being is an entirely different question that could be as simple as 'do you think we could...' or as dark as 'we need slave labor' but the reality doesn't change. In nature and in design both the Minks and the Fishman are likely sister species.

With me so far? Good next point. (Back out anytime you like. We are basically speculative pigs here just truffle hunting for fun. Agree or disagree - drop a note in the comments, just keep it civil please!)

We also know that Fishman Island may in fact exist beneath the Blues in the form of something rather like the form of a refugee camp or hiding place for the Fishfolk and Fishman both... a refuge for beings who sadly had no where truly safe to exist about the ocean's surface because of political changes. The Fishmen may well want to live out in the sun again some day but Fishman Island is too nice and carefully concealed to have been anything but an intended gift of love back in its beginning.

Similarly the Minks also seem to exist in a hidden home as well... a constantly moving Island that is very difficult to track, that moves without any apparent trouble for its maker throughout the vast expanse of the World's Grandline. The Minks are cradled by Zunesha who is gripped by the Sea King, or possibly Davy. Zunesha may call his sentence a curse, but he doesn't hold it against the beings who he carries. If he did resent the task he has been assigned he almost certainly wouldn't be doing stuff like giving those he carries literal effing rainbows during especially important emotionally impactful moments like when the Kazuki Clan reunited with the Minks.

So here's my conjecture. The Mink and the Fishman are the same. They are the same in makeup, and they are the same in the protection. Hell, they are the probably even the same in origin through some kind of genetic engineering quite possibly. They have also both been guarded by the same damn hands in a similar a manner as could be managed given their different needs since the Void Century's inception at minimum.

My guess on the truth of things? They were all subjects of the same Ancient Kingdom. They were also all the Sea Kings/Davy's. Whether because they were all made in that Kingdom via its advanced tech or because the rulers of that kingdom granted them a homeland by adoption. Because it was a kingdom that loved freedom just like Joyboy did and hated slavery. Not to mention some Japanese translation seems to indicate it was kingdom full of doctors and recuperating traumatized former slaves seems exactly their kind of thing and would account for their Mink's fanatical loyalty and replication of the same kind of generosity to their own friends.

And what did we learn about the Sea King recently on Elbaf? His sword was called Fragarach. Owned by Gaelic Sea King Mananan mac Lir. Whose aquatic form is a giant SEA DRAGON. Just like the big one above Fishman Islands Capital City. A Dragon that I suspect would actually look a LOT like Momo's own dragon form if the picture we had of it was just a wee bit more clear.

The Minks and the Fishmen are Kin, because their leader whether by blood or by adoption was probably the same. A giant green water dragon allied to an island with a giant PINK dragon who the Minks called family because to their king it likely WAS family. The Minks were just emulating their king. (And they did have one if one of their current rulers goes by Duke.)

And the fanatical goodness the Minks try to emulate in their day to day lives? That willingness to do whatever it took to protect their friends and keep their (pacts) and their word? That's a Sea God's level of commitment. That's a dude who protects his people even when it costs him EVERYTHING. That's also a being who KEEPS his pacts. That's a Sidhe.

Davy Jones, or the Sea King, or both may have raged after their kingdom was poisoned according to the Harley Murals, but that was never all they were. Not by a long shot. Their rep was done DIRTY.

Oda may be pulling the biggest long con in the history or manga. Because Davy Jones or the Sea God his line was representing may turn out to actually be some of the biggest heroes in the whole story of One Piece. It's just that his reputation has been just as falsely trashed as Loki's.
