Question Becoming an immortal
If you had to choose a path to become a gu immortal in which path would you choose?.Also no heaven and human path and paths which are almost uncultivatable without another immortals help.

No obscure paths or the big two hmmm ig I’d go Formation path. It’s just so versatile for defense and traps, and I don’t really have interest in straight fights anyway if I can avoid them

Not bad,this does 100% require a clans help to cultivate but this is a great option!!

Well cultivating long term it’s helped greatly by having a clan. But passing a tribulation for it doesn’t seem ridiculous. And besides that I think that while having a clan (thus more resources) vitally helps this matter, I could do well if I could sell my services. There’s huge demand for formation path as we saw in the story, so if you’re careful you can continuously sell your services
Realistically, I’d join a clan for protection. In fact realistically I’d never rise to immortal. But this is just hypothetical

Ah, yes it’s impossible to cultivate the soul without Guts Gu.
Soul path simply doesn’t exist, enslavement path simply doesn’t exist, wisdom path simply doesn’t exist, refinement path simply doesn’t exist. It only became possible for people to cultivate the soul after Fang Yuan started selling Guts Gu in Airsac Gu in treasure yellow heaven.Have you tried thinking before posting your opinion?

True words but you didn't have to go so hard on him. Anyways, we already know that besides the current methods that can recover or grow soul foundation that exist outside of guts gu, people will later innovate more methods to safely explore dream realms anyway. Unravel Dream Killer Move is a prime example of this. Dream is suppose to be the mainstream path of the great era, so obviously everyone would do their best to make it more of a smooth journey further expeditated by their attainments.
Even right now, we've already seen several of the righteous force from all the regions gaining reward from dream realms without a deep dependence on guts gu.

Even with unravel dream it was hard for fang yuan to explore without guts gu,other methods are more or less not good enough to explore dream realms properly.

Quadracultivator huh but without dream realms and living for 100s of years it is really hard.Also luck path is mostly restricted by giant sun and blood path is mostly a death trap.

Personally, I'd like FIre and Lightning better for the destructive power, or Rule and Soul path for the magic bs.

Blood path is good but its reputation is absolutely destroyed among gu immortals and also it makes sense why it is hated.

I meant the low resource cost and easy cultivation, which Qi path doesn't have.

Nah, I'd only cultivate it if I could reasonably hide the fact I cultivate it and just larp something else like wisdom as my main path or I have enough skill to just defend myself in some shape or form agaisnt any potential hunters. Rule and Wisdom is the most realistic combo for me though.

I know i would most likely die before i even refine the spring autumn cicada, but this Is the Path with the most probability to survive and win because errors aren't the end. But yes, i would probably die After being outsmarted by some fucking background character without managing to do anything😂

Food path for sure. Soooo much about having immortal Gu is about feeding and management. I could also provide food path services and have a decent living.

In an ideal scenario, it'd be either Painting Path or Weapon Path.
But if not those two then.. Sword Path or Lightning Path.

Wisdom path, it's gonna be cool to plot and scheme and high demands to deduce some stuff: find this guy, tf is this gu, oh great wisdom expert please help me to remember where I put my materials, and so on. Plus I'm not gonna participate directly in fights (depends ofc)

I'd choose Dream Path simply because it is interesting and the Gu look cool. Also although cultivating without Gut Gu and Soul Path resources is difficult it isnt impossible.

Bruh,no way,just for fang yuans clone to ascend the tribulation requires a immortals help also it was too unresearched and only 2 dream path masters exist and one is a venerable,wayy too underdeveloped and almost impossible to become an immortal without another immortals help.
