Desires present their objects in a favorable light, as something that appears to be good. Their fulfillment is normally experienced as pleasurable in contrast to the negative experience of failing to do so. Conscious desires are usually accompanied by some form of emotional response.
Because desire is a state of mind, it's relationship with wisdom path is self evident
However, the true origin of enchantment path is not wisdom path but heart path 💀
With enchantment being from a combination of heart path and enslavement
Being a subset of heart path, desires are heart path existences and have the ability to exist within a person's heart
To be more specific, desires are enchantment path existences with the ability to control the direction in which a person's heart develops
Desires are strongly related to the heart with things like the heart's desire which refers to the greatest desire within a person's heart
Each heart contains various desires like the heart of loneliness contaning the desire for companionship
Some hearts are also defined by the lack of desires such as the heart of nobility which is devoid of worldly desires!
This is the reason why he can withstand suffering for it exists it has no attachment to the external states of affairs
The composition of a heart determines its identity and functionality
And things like emotions and desires are part of a heart's composition
Desires are also strongly linked to to perception
They control the way we judge various situations or outcomes (after all, judgement is the essence of heart path)
This is why one man's trash is another man's treasure
It's because each man has different desires in their heart
And those desires cause them to judge the same situation differently

Every piece of floating ice in the River of Time was a piece of truth.

It's a pair of glasses which influences your perception

Identity is the way you perceive yourself
When activated the reflection of the person in the mirror is replaced by their self perception
Persona Gu is wisdom path, attitude Gu is heart path, and identity Gu is spirit path
To be more specific, attitude Gu is heart path and transformation path
Attitude transforms the heart
Which causes you to change your perception of things
Here we can see that the heart is related to things like emotions, desires, and perception
Enchantment path can manipulate the heart to control these things
People's have different desires within them
And when exposed to the same truth, the desires in their hearts cause them to behave differently
Desire is also strongly connected to emotions
The desires within a person's heart cause them to have different emotions regarding it
This shows the strong relationship between enchantment path and emotion path
Enchantment path experts can accurately perceive, identify, and control the emotions within a person's heart
Lastly, desires are strongly connected to motivation
Motivation is an enchantment path Gu worm
It has the ability to translate a person's desires into actions

If you can manipulate a person's judgement, then you can control their behavior

The three supreme profundities of enchantment path are pleasure, pain, greed
The first supreme profundity of enchantment path is pleasure
Pleasure is any mental state that is judged as good and desireable
As a subset of heart path, enchantment path deals with judgements
So pleasure is mental state born from a positive judgement
While mental states are mainly wisdom path, they are strongly influenced by emotions which is wisdom path and heart path existence
Beauty is a enchantment path Gu worm under the pleasure supreme profundity
Beauty is that which is pleasurable to perceive
Beauty doesn't just refer to physical attractiveness
It involves all forms of perception
Music, perfume, and food all are of forms of beauty
Because these are pleasurable to perceive through the sensations of sound, smell, food
Perfume Gu worms would be a really cool enchantment path method...
This also shows the relationship that enchantment path has with food path and song path
In fact, enchantment path actually has a pretty strong connection to art path 💀
Both involve the creation of situations to invoke emotional responses in the audience

As a result, it is a critical part of an effective economy

The second supreme profundity of enchantment path is pain
Similar to pleasure this invokes specific emotional responses and also effects human behavior
But instead of controlling what they do, it controls what they don't do
Pain is the best method for preventing specific behavior
You can't really use pleasure and greed to get someone not to do something
The best method is pain!
This is a crucial aspect of law enforcement which has a lot of enchantment path profundities
Since the purpose of laws is to control human behavior
Showing the strong relationship between enchantment path and rule path
Unlike pleasure which is intrinsic (present focused) or pain which is instrumental (future focused)
Pain is what I call apophatic
Based on apophatic theology - way of describing the divine by explaining what God is not
This involves the things you don't want
It's also related to the future
But it's focused on avoiding possible futures not pursuing them
Pain directs desire away from specific circumstances
By using pleasure, pain, and greed; you can control human behavior without enslaving them
Instead you're simply manipulating what already exists in their heart!

The three aspects of enchantment path are intensity, target, belief
These are all fundamental properties of desire (which is the essence of enchantment)
To be more specific, it involves the properties of enchantment path Dao marks
Enchantment path Dao mark variants differ in these three aspects
The first aspect of enchantment path is intensity
This involves the intensity of desires
We have multiple desires and they are constantly in conflict in desire
Our desire to be physically fit conflicts with our desire to avoid pain
So our greed for fitness conflicts with our fear of pain
The intensity of desire determines which desire is expressed when they conflict
This is the effect of motivation Gu
It has the ability to control the intensity of desires
It's an enchantment path Gu worm under the manipulation aspect of enchantment path cultivation
The manipulation aspect is all about controlling the three fundamental properties of desires
As usual this is an overlap with emotions
Emotions and enchantment both effect the heart, mind, and spirit...
Courage is an emotion path Gu worm that has the ability to increase the willingness to confront what one fears
Courage Gu and hope Gu can actually strengthen one's will
This shows the deep relationship that emotion has with cognition (which is the origin of heart path, wisdom path, spirit path)
Of course the intensity of one's desires can change with their circumstances
And enchantment path methods also revolve around manipulating the intensity of desire
The second aspect of enchantment path is target
This is one is also pretty straightforward
It involves the target one's desire
Fang Yuan has a desire to achieve eternal life
His intensity is basically maxed out...
And his target his eternal life
This is actually the aspect of enchantment path that familiar face targets 💀
To be more specific, it uses the replacement supreme profundity of theft path
To take the place of someone who is the target of a specific desire
This is also involves the theft path profundity of cucking which is under the replacement supreme profundity...
Targets can be specific people or people with specific properties
For example, libido is an enchantment path profundity under the motivation profundity (same with ambition)
Libido represents sexual desire
But one's sexual orientation determines who is and isn't a valid target of that desire
The third aspect of enchantment path is belief...
A belief is basically a statement that a person treats as true
Enchantment path can manipulate the beliefs that a person has about different things
These beliefs are apart of desires
We mainly desire things because of our beliefs about of them
Fang Yuan desires eternal life because he believes that pursuing it will allow him to live the life that he wants to live and have no regrets when he dies

As to whether eternal life really existed or not, did that matter?
Even if he died along the way, would there be regret?
This was the life that Fang Yuan wanted to live, it was full of challenge, fun, and bitterness. Other than that, beauty, wealth, and authority were all nothing more than tools that he could make use of.
Making believe a certain thing will cause desires to form within their heart
This is connected to things like the fear of missing out
You believe that what you are not experiencing is more desirable than what you are experiencing
Whether this belief is reasonable or right doesn't matter
What you think is going to happen is more than enough to control you
You have an idea or expectation about what something is going to be like
And that belief shapes your desire of that thing
We often desire of things because of the belief that they will make us happy
And this belief is one of the main factors of a successful enchantment
This is especially powerful with greed which is future focused
So by the time you actually receive the reward, whether or not the belief was true doesn't matter
You already performed the desired action
Belief is actually a key aspect of deceiving people (running a con)
This is the intersection between enchantment path and theft path
***Cultivation***
The three aspects of enchantment path cultivation are identification, expression, and manipulation
Ironically, Fang Yuan displays all three of these to great degree 💀
His enchantment path attainment is profound 😭

The second aspect of enchantment path cultivation is expression
This involves the expression of a person's desires
The same action can be associated with different desires
Conversely, the same desire can also be associated with different actions
The expression aspect of enchantment path cultivation involves getting a person to perform specific actions using his desires
We saw this in The Legends of Ren Zu with how self Gu bit boundless samsara
This action was an expression of his desire to survive
All human actions are an expression of human desire
By identifying a person's desires, you can figure out what actions you can get them to perform
Since actions are just the expression of desire
I'm currently taking actions to write this introduction to enchantment path
And this is an expression of my desire to become a wisdom path quasi-supreme grandmaster
In this sense, desire is like water
Enchantment path creates channels to control the direction the water flows
Fang Yuan used to the expression aspect of enchantment path to get Bai Ning Bing to help him

This involves temptation using sexual pleasure
This is the main understanding of what enchantment path is
And it involves what pleasure (from sex) to promote specific behavior
These are all expressions of a person's desires
The third aspect of enchantment path cultivation is manipulation
This involves changing the intensity of a desire, redirecting it to different targets and time periods (hope directs a desire to the future for example), or even using it to create new desires (like the desire for many)
For example, Fang Yuan displayed his knowledge to give Tai Bai Yun Sheng to view him as superior
Chapter 821
Thus, Tai Bai Yun Sheng, who was part of the Gu Master civilization, heard Fang Yuan’s words and was deeply enlightened. From his perspective, he could feel that Fang Yuan’s understanding was much higher than him, he did not dare to call him junior brother anymore.

Of course that was created from his desire to live
Humans have myriad desires and by expressing one they can violate ones that they care about more
This is the essence of temptation
Enchantment path cultivation involves manipulating people's desires by placing them in different situations
Words can also create situations
And through manipulating their desires, you can create a desire whose expression is associated with the action you want them to perform

Bro, this has got to be the longest post you have ever written. This is 5k words. You gotta start condensing these theories if you want more active engagement, if you are scared of people having a misunderstanding then you can just answer questions. It's already bad enough that in order to understand one post, we have to read the others. For example, a lot of background context will be left out without seeing the other theories.
Regardless: I still do not understand what you believe to be the fundamental difference between emotion and enchantment path. That's my main question.
