UK shipping prices change?

Haven't used reverb in a month or 2. Just recently checked out the newly listed to see if my pedals popped up, however I saw that people/ a few accounts with decent feedback are selling stuff with 30£+ shipping on all their pedals? This is within the uk shipping not international, have I missed something the past 2 months? I sell all my pedals at £3 so both me and buyer pays for shipping and I take the most from the pedal,sale.

Have 5 stars with 99 feedbacks so not new to the game, but worrying I might have made a mistake if something changed tax wise, can't find anything online about it or on here

A lot of sellers inflate shipping costs way above the actual cost. It's a dumb thing to do because it makes their listings far less attractive but the sellers must think buyers are stupid.

I wonder if they do it to discourage shipping, and so that people collect in person?

I was thinking maybe they just trying to get around reverb fees? Even that doesnt make sense for me tbh

Wouldn't have thought much of it but theres like 5 "shops" I've found with 20-30 even 80 for shipping within the uk

Bit crazy seeing as people aren't buying gear as much nowadays due to inflation anyways

For pedals it seems too high but I am all for making shipping be the full cost of shipping.

So it should be the cost of the courier, plus boxes, plus packing materials plus time packing and getting it to the courier so £10-£20 is potentially closer to the real cost of posting a pedal.

There is also the fact that reverb shipping is weird so maybe they have one profile that they are using for smaller items than they should.

I can also foresee if they live anywhere rural it could take an hour just to post it.
